ADHD & SHE
Empowering ADHD Women through a neurodivergent-informed perspective.
ABOUT US
Why Choose
ADHD & She?
ADHD & She is an online practice that specializes in a neurodivergent-informed, humanistic perspective. We serve mainly Ottawa and Ontario residents, but can work with individuals across Canada, depending on your physical location. We work with individuals, couples, romantic partnerships, and families. We also currently only work with individuals 18 years and older.
We don’t believe in “ADHD treatment”, but rather support getting to know your neurotype’s strengths. We support ADHD individuals regardless of ADHD type and presentation, barring comorbid issues that may be outside our scope of practice. If such issues are present, don’t worry – we’re happy to point you in the right direction (subject to availability)!
Personalized Care
We provide a custom tailored approach best fitting your neurodivergent and ADHD needs. We also adjust therapy pacing to best fit your life style.
All Are Welcome
Do you identify as LGBTQ+, a different gender-identity, have a different cultural background, or have a different relationship type? We are supportive and affirming! We also offer referrals to specialists in these groups as necessary (subject to availability).
Coaching Referrals Available
Living life as an ADHD person can present with daily challenges. If you’re looking for ADHD coaching strategies, we can work with you or offer a referral as needed.
Specialized Care
Our goal is to help you as an ADHD individual to better understand your neurotype and to access services as needed. We also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help connect you to your goals.
Helping You to Unmask, at Your Pace
Did you know that women are more likely to get assessed as ADHD later in life? This is in part due to different gender expectations contributing to ADHD women masking their ADHD traits. One of our goals is to help you to unmask in a safe, supportive environment.
Referrals to Assessment Services
Need an assessment for ADHD? Although we don’t offer it ourselves we’re happy to provide leads as they become available.
"It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept and celebrate those differences."

Clearing up ADHD Misconceptions
Ever wonder why so many ADHD individuals can relate to one ADHD trait, but not another? Differences in ADHD types, presentation, sensory differences and comorbid neurological differences can all have an impact.
We’re happy to clear up some misconceptions in our approach, as doing so can help to normalize the way you think, process and interact with the world.
